A woman with a very rare and severe case of triple autoimmune disease has been saved by CAR-T cell immunotherapy, doctors from the University of Erlangen (Germany) announced. Suffering from severe anemia and a high risk of bleeding and clotting, the bedridden patient required daily blood transfusions to stay alive.
