“교수중간착취자”…
Daejeon Armed Forces Hospital director Lee Guk-jong, known as the "Hero of the Gulf of Aden," criticized the nation's medical system at a conference for military doctors.
According to the medical community and online communities, on the 15th, the day before, Director Lee Guk-jong gave a lecture to medical candidates at a training center in Goesan, North Chungcheong Province, and strongly criticized the avoidance of compulsory subjects, conflicts between doctors and medical staff, and the exploitation of residents in major hospitals.
The director of the hospital “조선반도는 입만 터는 문과놈들이 해 먹는 나라다. 이게 수천년간 이어진 조선반도의 DNA고 이건 바뀌지 않는다. 절이 싫으면 중이 떠나라” said “서울대병원, 세브란스 같은 대형병원의 고령 교수들과 공무원들에게 평생 괴롭힘당하며 살기 싫다면 바이털과는 하지 말라”.
He continued “절대 나처럼 살지 마라. 돌아오는 건 해고 통지서뿐” and says “한평생 외상외과에서 열심히 일했지만 바뀐 건 하나도 없었다. 내 인생은 망했다”.
He then spoke about the late Professor Yoon Han-deok, who died of overwork.
The hospital director said “너무 기특해서 플래카드까지 달아줬다. 조선에는 가망이 없으니 너희도 절이 싫으면 중이 떠나듯 탈조선해라” when reporting the news that a military doctor at the Daejeon Armed Forces Hospital had passed the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
He also spoke about the political conflict and structural problems of major hospitals that day. The hospital director said “복귀자랑 패싸움이라도 벌어져서 반 정도는 죽어있을 줄 알았는데 다들 착하다” and “감귤(전공의로 복귀한 의사를 비하한 표현) 정도로 놀리는 거 보니 귀엽다”.
It also has “교수들은 중간착취자가 맞다” and “전공의를 짜내서 벽에 통유리를 바르고, 에스컬레이터를 설치하는 대형병원이 수가 인상을 요구하면 조선 아들딸들은 개소리라고 한다” gives a harsh reprimand.
Finally, “움집이나 텐트만 있어도 서울대병원, 세브란스라면 진료받으러 온다. 대리석같은인테리어는의미없다” has been added.
