Memory loss is not always a sign of Alzheimer's. It can be linked to other degenerative pathologies, some more rapid than others, but also to reversible factors.

If there's one symptom that's worrisome, it's memory loss. Is this an early sign of impending failure? Alzheimer's disease comes to mind. But other pathologies can also be involved. Some of these also cause neuronal damage in the areas of the brain responsible for storing and processing information, leading to a decline in cognitive abilities, including memory.
