Hässleholm Municipality has approved Eon's plan to build a large transformer station near Hässleholmsgården – where an oak grove currently grows.
– This is the first step, but in the future we will rebuild Hässleholm's entire electricity network to meet the major challenges that exist, says Peter Hjalmar, Regional Director of Eon.

NOW Hässleholm Municipality decided to approve the construction, despite the fact that the land is considered to have "certain natural value" and several trees worthy of protection.
