At the end of September 2024, the High Authority for Health published recommendations detailing a diagnostic method and a care pathway for general practitioners and pediatricians concerning ADHD.

Always agitated, sometimes even aggressive, this child may suffer from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). A syndrome that has a genetic component – 30 to 40% of those affected have a parent who has the same disorder – and which affects 3.5 to 5.6% of schoolchildren in France, according to the High Authority for Health (HAS). In half of the cases, other disorders are associated with it, for example dyslexia, which affects reading and writing, or autism.
