Capella Bangkok in Thailand has been named the World’s Best Hotel 2024, topping a list that features 19 hotels in Asia, followed by Europe (13), North America (9), Africa (4), Oceania (4) and South America (1). The list includes 15 new entries from territories including Oman, French Polynesia and Fiji.

The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2024 list was announced at a ceremony in London, celebrating the best hotels from around the world. Capella Bangkok, located on the Chao Phraya River, jumped from 11th to 1st place in 2023 and also earned the title of Asia’s Best Hotel 2024. The hotel, known for its lush gardens, spectacular architecture and personalized service, embodies luxury with a boutique atmosphere.

- Rosewood Hong Kong ranked No. 3, cementing Asia's dominance in the top rankings.
- Europe contributed 13 hotels to the list, with top entrants coming from France, the UK and Italy.
- North America had nine hotels, including Maroma And Chablé Yucatan in Mexico.
