"Isn't a regime that lasted only 5 years intrepid?"
"The actions are simply those of a dictator."
Park Chan-dae, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, said on the 28th: "Is this a country where the president, who was a prosecutor, openly takes the initiative to make Kim Kun-hee bulletproof?
On that day, Leader Park attended an event organized by a civic group in front of the Seoul Press Center to condemn President Yoon Seok-yeol's exercise of the right to request review and declared, "The Democratic Republic of Korea has become the 'Kingdom of Kim Kun-hee.'"
Prosecutor Park said there is a strong possibility that President Yoon will exercise his right to request a review of the special prosecution bill recently passed by the National Assembly. "Is there even one?"
He continued: "Protecting those who have committed crimes and interfering in the investigation is not right, but it is a crime," and stressed: "A president who protects crimes is not qualified to be president."
Regarding President Yoon's veto, leader Park said, "During the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, he only exercised the veto 21 times, and that's the second highest record after Syngman Rhee (former president). 45 times," adding, "He admired the dictator Syngman Rhee. He also said, 'Do you want to rewrite the record?'"
Prosecutor Park said, "Isn't this government, which has only lasted five years, fearless?" and "Every time it opens its mouth, it shouts about liberal democracy, but in reality, it acts like a dictator."
Leader Park declared, "The true owner of the Republic of Korea is not the president, but the people." He added, "Following the words of former President Roh Moo-hyun, who said, 'The last bastion of the Republic of Korea.' Democracy is the organized power of awakened citizens, awakened citizens and the unruly regime must be defeated. "I will work to end tyranny," he said.
