The main square shines under the Landes sun. People have deserted the pétanque court and the children's park to shelter in the shade of the arcades, where life bustles. At the hair salon, a woman is having her hair done, a man is cycling in the gym, two women are leaving the supermarket, while a group is seated at a table at the local café. We are in Dax, at the Henri-Emmanuelli Landais Alzheimer Village, where life goes on with a semblance of normality, despite the illness.
