Secretary Rollins Highlights Policy Priorities at Kansas Agriculture Roundtable and Top Producer Summit Fireside Chat

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins traveled to Kansas and Missouri, respectively, to meet with farmers, ranchers and members of the agricultural community.
Plains, KS and Kansas City, MO, February 18, 2025 – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins traveled to Kansas and Missouri, respectively, to meet with farmers, ranchers and members of the agricultural community to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the industry. Conversations focused on expanding market access, strengthening rural economies and ensuring producers have the tools they need to remain globally competitive.
“Kansas is the heartland of American agriculture, and its farmers and ranchers play a vital role in feeding the world,” said Secretary Rollins. . “The meaningful discussions I have participated in over the past two days will help shape policies that support long-term success, not only for Midwest producers, but for agriculture across the country.”On Monday, Secretary Rollins joined U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, MD, and U.S. Representative Tracey Mann for a tour and roundtable discussion at High Plains Ponderosa Dairy in Plains, Kansas. Producers shared their perspectives on the current economic landscape, regulatory concerns, and disaster relief.
