The seasonal flu epidemic has spread throughout France, while the bronchiolitis epidemic has affected twelve regions, Public Health France (SPF) announced on Wednesday.
In the week ending December 15, eight regions entered a flu epidemic, with all regions thus being in the epidemic phase, in "all age groups", except Corsica which moved into "pre-epidemic" status.
And overseas, only Martinique was in pre-epidemic status, specifies the health agency bulletin.
In France, the bronchiolitis epidemic also affected all regions, but compared to previous years, its level of intensity was at this stage described as "low or moderate," he said.
Regarding Covid-19, the indicators were "generally stable at low levels" compared to the previous week.
