Will artificial intelligence become doctors' best ally? Already widely used in the early detection of cancers, AI continues to expand into all other areas of medicine. Its primary strength lies in its ability to take into account the wealth of information contained in patients' medical histories. It is thanks to this data, in particular, that the Delphi-2M artificial intelligence model, developed at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), is able to predict the risk of developing more than a thousand diseases over the next two decades.
