People from Generation X (born between 1965 and 1980) and millennials (born between the early 1980s and the late 1990s) would have a higher risk of developing 17 different cancers compared to previous generations, reveals a study published in the Lancet Public Health. Among the cancers where the risk increases the most are breast cancer, pancreatic cancer and cancers of the digestive system. Mortality increases in relation to liver cancer (in women), uterine cancer, gallbladder cancer, testicular cancer and colorectal cancer.
