The door opens and releases a cluster of people. Red faces, t-shirts soaked with sweat. " Good luck ! " The group is then called out to those who cross the threshold. For thirty minutes, the "Climate Sense" truck offers a chance to experience life in 50°C (122°F) shade. This mobile climate chamber simulates extreme heat conditions that France has not yet experienced, but which it could encounter by 2050. Designed by Christian Clot, director and founder of the Human Adaptation Institute in Marseille, the installation has been touring France since 2024 to raise awareness about climate change. The challenging experience allows participants to feel the effects of such a temperature increase on our bodies.
