Certain activities, especially professional ones, induce postures or movements that excessively stress certain parts of the body and are likely to trigger musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Constantly increasing, MSDs are the major cause of work stoppages in the context of occupational diseases. They affect the joints, muscles, nerves and tendons and manifest themselves by pain and difficulty in performing the required movement: repeating the same gesture, carrying loads, twisting, flexing or extending a part of the body.
