Police say investigators believe there could be more victims in and around the Ottawa area in connection with a case that has led to sexual assault charges against a 42-year-old man.

In a May 8 media release, the Ottawa Police Service said its Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) unit had arrested Donald McNeil in March after launching the investigation in December 2025 into allegations involving a child in 2013 and two adults in 2025.

Charges against McNeil, the release said, included two counts of sexual interference, one count each of invitation to sexual touching and forcible confinement and four counts of sexual assault.
